Voids. Are they extrinsic or inherent to human beings? Do we create them? Maybe it doesn't matter at all. Apparently, we think it's more important to find ways to fill our gaps. We only need to look at the vast diversity of everyday devices we have at our disposal for this purpose. But if there's no shortage of devices, how come there are still voids? Are they infinite voids? Repeated? Many theorists, such as Zygmunt Bauman and his “liquid modernity”, have focused on the relationship between consumption, in its broadest sense, and existential emptiness. And, in this context, this project seeks to propose, through “stills” of everyday elements, a reflection on excesses, voids and a supposed dynamic between them.  A constant symmetrical geometry, in addition to aestheticizing, evokes the same feeling of control that we seek when consuming, but that we lose when we do so compulsively.   The project began as a photobook and some of the photographs are currently available for sale.
